We've been down this road....with cylinder 8, etc. You can't judge much based on what you read on the boards. Lots of things we don't know about most of these incidents.

I'd like the eco as a fun second car but, I wouldn't give up my Coyote for it, ever....

I say the 5.0 but I would say the ecoboost is nice. My wife has one and with a little money put into it , exhaust ,intake, blowoff valve and tune that car is a rocket too. Nothing is like a 2014 gt though but both are great rides.

Don't buy running shoes and run in them. You might wear them out.

You'll get the Eco, and then most likely regret it. Just get the v8 and be a happy man.

I test drove a 11 gt yesterday. The interior is good enough that I can live with it. The motor is fun and sounds great!

I noticed the cars *** end acted a lot more squirrelly than the 16 GT's I drove. Is this because the rear live axle instead of the irs? The tires on this car weren't bad (P zeros)

Yes, also due to the tire size as well.

Stock 5.0s either come with 235s or 245s. If you tested a 16 PP, it had 275s.

When I sold my 14 TrakPak it had 285x35/20's in the rear with OE GT500 wheels and with all of the OE rear suspension changed and the rearend was very planted and worked a lot better than when it was stock with the 255x40/19's. I drove a couple of 15 GT's and the 15 stock was as good if not better than my mod'd 14 and was a lot less harsh.
The IRS makes a big difference in how it feels and corners....IMHO
