Anyone running Drag Radials on these?

Long story short I cannot fit 15" on my 2013 GT. I know I know but it just isnt working. So I need 17" Drag radials. Love the Dark Stars but even with the MEVO discount still expensive as hell for tire I will run MAYBE 6 times a year.

Anyone use these with drag radials or have other affordable suggestions. I am not racing as much as wanting track fun every so often. It is my daily and I literally went track 4 times last year. Any reasonable priced 17" with the ability to use drag radials would be greatly appreciated if you know of them and have no input on these.

D/R's

I ended up with 2 19" bullit rims from american racing that I got for 74.99 each this time last year. I mounted M/T 245/40/19's on them. They hook up ok, but I should have went with the 275's and I might have even gone to 305's.
Going to get adjustable shocks for the front and see how that works out.
I've been pulling 12.5 with a set of short tube headers, FRP Pro Cal tune, BMR LCA's Pypes X-pipe and shaftmasters aluminum driveshaft.
Not sure where i'm going next with mods. We'll see what additional suspension mods will do. It's a daily driver when the weather is nice so I'm really not all that keen on lowering it.

To run a 15x10 wheel on the rear you need the swaybar relocation bracket. It's like $30 and really easy to install.

I have that. Cut section off old area and everything still wont slip on. About 1inch still. We and a mechanic tried multiple things. It is odd as hell. BMR LCA and adjustable UCA and panhard. LCA relocation brackets. Sway bar relocation. Eibach prodamper shocks and struts on sportline springs are all my suspension mods

You got me wondering, what is the issue with 15" rims?

Did you cut the bracket where the sway bar and shock mounts to?

You can also try SVE drag rims instead of the race stars Click image for larger version

I couldn't find a good picture but if you look at the one I posted earlier you'll see how the sway bar relocation bracket should be positioned up more , the rim is hitting on your sway bar relocation bracket
