Automatic Tranmission removal

2011 Mustang Gt AT.....question. When removing the transmission, do you have to remove, mess with, or go anywhere near the AC compressor . Local Ford dealer may or may may have done some damage to my car. Just trying to get all the facts before I approach corporate.

The compressor is at the front of the engine so I doubt removing the trans would damage the compressor unless they also removed your engine for some reason and it got damaged that way. They might have damaged or disconnected some AC lines near the firewall by where the engine and trans bolt together if you are saying your air no longer works after the work.

I presume it was recall repair for you, right?

They might have hung the engine off its mounts when the trans was out and that might have strained or cracked a line.

There is no obvious nexus between the two subsystems though.
