I'd really say, who cares? You know you serviced the car and that's what matters. We don't have this stupid little thing where I live and it's a bit teacher's pet-like. "Look Ford, I'm a good owner; I did what you told me. Can I have my smiley-face sticker now?"

I was looking for help with this, if you didn't know the answer you didn't need to post.

I run a vehicle health report when I change the oil.

To what end? It's not really telling you your vehicle health. You've got records of the oil change, should you need warranty support.

Reset it with a DST.

If one does not fail at times, then one has not challenged himself.

Go to syncmyride.com and you should be able to enter the data, as I recall. The car won't know if the brakes have been done since there isn't any sensor data. All the vehicle health report knows is the mileage and so it is setting it in the report because nothing is telling sync otherwise.

That just doesn't answer my question.

And the recall can't be done !... It's been over a year.

So I want this removed.

Not totally positive but I don't think you can reset that. May be something the dealer does. Sorry I'm not much help because I don't know for sure but that is what makes sense to me. If you cleared yourself and then sold the car the next owner wouldn't know he or she still has a faulty airbag.

Not selling the car but I'm completely tired of looking at it almost the entire length I've owned this car.

You can't clear the recall. It will be cleared by the dealer when it is done.

Make sure your parking brake is off when you run your report or else it will indicate an issue with your brakes.

Telling me to wait for the recall to be done like I'm doing for 14 months doesn't answer my my question on how to clear a vehicle health report.

if you think i need that kind of help, just stop posting.

im extremely annoyed at this recall nonsense and I'm tired of it.

Dude... Why are you being so hostile. If the recall isn't done, YOU CAN'T CLEAR IT. It can only be cleared by the dealer once it is complete. Everyone has been answering your question, it's just not the answer you want.

Why do you look at your vehicle health report so much?

In case you haven't looked up from under your bridge in the last couple years, pretty much every manufacturer is dealing with this recall right now. We are talking about millions of Mustangs alone, since 2005, as well as nearly every other car manufacturer on the Earth ball. They are working on the older cars first, as they are most likely to have an issue with the degradation of the inflator mechanism. Just get over it, enjoy your ride and stop the bratty whining.

It's not that I look at the health report so much it's been a 12 or a 14 month issue.

You're starting to see my frustration with this airbag recall I can't fix it ford can't fix it,and the health report says it could kill me.
yes, absolutely I'm looking for another answer. ... I may not get it but I'm waiting if it's possible.

I just told you, along with everyone else, that it is not possible. You'll get your airbag in the 4th quarter of this year. You should have gotten a letter in the mail stating that.

Oh yeah I got that letter I'm also told that this new airbag is only good for about a year and then the recall bull**** starts all over again.
