Forgestar F14s

I'm buying a used set of f14 I'm not very familiar with offsets, the wheels are 18x10 with +42 offset, tires are 295/40 all around, will I run into rubing issues because of the offset?

I don't think you'll get a 295/40 to fit in the front. I think the offset is ok but the tire is too big.

It's the inner wheelhouse and the tie rods that will interfere before full lock, I think

Which tires are you looking at? Might be better off going with a stickier 285/40? Would grip better than a less-sticky 295 anyway

GT350's have 295's up front. Not sure about the suspension set up.

But I'd check the offsets & sizes of those wheels, as a comparison:
295/35ZR19 96Z 10.5J x 19 ET25 5x114.3
305/30ZR20 96Z 11.0J x 20 ET19 5x114.3

Most people that go big square go 275 all around.
or staggered at 255 front & 275-305 rear.

The only 295's I've heard of on the fronts are on the GT350s.

I know the Roush SN197s have 18x10 square. I don't know the offsets, but it's not out of the realm of possibility.

Considering that Vorshlag Racing has 18x11 square setup and over a 2" drop with no custom work (camber plates required), I wouldn't think there would be a major problem with 18x10.

Edit:
I didn't read. I like your setup and have been putting off on getting wheels. I am thinking of going down from 20x8 front and 20x10 on the rear to 18x10 square.

Is your car lowered?

Yah I'm on kw v3s with mm played I had sportlines before my coilovers and I kept the ride height equilivent to the sportlines. Honestly after this box set up I don't think I'll ever switch back to staggered

Do you feel more feedback or resistance for turning ?

Like I keep my steering setting in Sport. But I'm wondering with these wide front wheels + Sport steering setting, if it make the turning feel "heavy"?

With the 295s set on sport setting the steering feels super heavy, when I keep it on normal a good way to put it is when I had 255s before in the front and when that was set on sport thats basically how the steering feels with the 295s having it set on normal

Thought that might be an issue. Luckily, we have different steering wheel settings to resolve it.
