Electric Cutout Exhaust Kit

Running Long Tube ceramics with Catless X pipe and Outlaws.

is it worth getting this kit to get a bit of a louder aggressive sound every now and then? Where is it recommended to install this kit (Before or after the x pipe)

Cut the outlaws off and have straight pipe. I had exhaust cutouts and hated them. Sounded great open, but horrible closed.

I guess putting straight piping would be the best option, cheaper too. I just like the concept of being able to open and close it t et the sound. My car is loud enough on cold start and putting straight piping will make it even louder. I don't want my neighbors throwing rocks at my car. lol

will adding these cutouts make my car sound different with my current set up and the system being closed?

I have stock headers but offroad xpipe, no resonators and no mufflers; not my neighbors I worry about its my gf's old guy neighbor a few houses down that told me he is calling the cops next time I drive it there. He claims when my car starts it scares him and his wife. He has no problem with the people who fly down the block, that actually could harm someone though. I have since halted driving my car to her house if I stay the night(but oh boy how I want to show him how loud it gets when revved up). Besides that I have only gotten compliments on my exhaust. If your neighbors are fine with you i would go straight pipe, I wish I had more cash to get headers and I would still go straight pipe. I know videos suck but post one of you can on your choice.

when i first got my headers i thought he car was too loud; but Sound is like speed to me, you always want more.

i think i will purchase them and place them right before "X" close to the header. I really like the concept of the cutout. I just hope it does not interfere with my current set up when the system is closed.

there are also cheaper set ups on Amazon. (QTP, EPMAN, Generic Racing, Spec-D, VEVOR).

I have to do my research on these brands but they are 50-70% cheaper than AM.

Definitely reaearch, would suck to have em put in and they get stuck after short time and you have to do more work on them. I believe there are threads floating about cutouts, which actually made me not want them due to some issues people had but then again every item will have people with issues

You will find that the cheaper ones have very poor electric motors/solenoids and that water vapor and the cheap motors/solenoids do not mix well....there is a reason they are cheap...they won't last long.

i think i made up my mind. I am going with the QTP brand low profile electric cutouts. these are perfect fitment for my X pipe, good reviews and are neck and neck with Pypes pricing. Everything is Satinless so that is always good.

QTP's products are great and they have a great wireless system which makes installation really easy.

Every time I'm next to a car at a light, that sounds like he has more sub-woofer than anything else, I wish I had directional exhaust cutouts.
Realistically, I'll probably not go for it.
