Can this be removed from Mirrors???

Hi all,
I'm wondering if it's possible to remove the Silver Cover part on my Mirrors so I can paint them. Anyone done this ? Are they just held on with tabs ?
Any help is appreciated. Thanks !!!

Mustang Evolution - Hellish Horse's Album: mirrors
Here's the pics of what I'm talking about. I just want to take off the Silver Covers if this is possible.

I commented on your post about the license plate insert. They should just be clips. Grab them at the seams and pull up. If you got to AmericanMuscle.com mirror cover parts they should have install instructions that will show you how.

Yeah, I just checked that out. It only shows for the V-6's & the mirrors are a little different.
Going to try You Tube now. Removal is probably similar.
Already removed he License plate surround painted & Clear Coated it. Now for a 2000 Grit Sanding & a Final coat of Satin Clear & it's done.
Also in the process of painting the wiper arms too. Off & Painted. Now to Clear Coat.
