TPMS Question

Hey guys,
I have a wheel trade set up for this Saturday. The guy has after market wheels with 2012 Sensors in them. Mine are 2016 Stock Wheels with 2014 Sensors in them. Will I have to get the sensors from his wheels programmed to my car or should they work without programming them ?
When I put the 2016 wheels on my car the 2016 Sensors would not program to my car so I had to take the sensors out of my 2014 wheels & put them in the 2016 wheels.
Anybody Know ???

TPMS Question

According to American Muscle. The sensors they sell are for 10-14 so I'd assume they are good to go. Just bring a tpms tool and test it though.

Either way you will have to reprogram the wheels but sensors should work fine. Tool off amazon was about $30

The 2012 sensors should work. If they are OEM they will sync up automatically in 50 or so miles. If they are aftermarket you will have to program them. I had poor luck with getting the AM ones to program to my car.
