No. It will not trigger a code.
Disconnecting the battery is actually a method used to clear all of the codes.

Except it won't clear hard fault codes.

However, you should investigate why this is happening. I bet the battery is leaking a little around the terminals. You may wish to just replace it rather than risk paint or other surface damage from the acid.

Baking soda and water cleans the crud off good. Dielectric grease or vaseline helps prevent its formation.

Just finished cleaning the positive terminal, not easy as it may seem.
Ive cleaned a lot of battery terminals in my life and this was the worst
stupid design there's a bracket with like 5 other leads going off it.
all coroded, its really intricate and hard to clean. Made a big mess.
and I stuffed rags all around it.
tools used:
wire brush, tooth brush, batery brush,8mm and 9mm socket wrench.
Rags, baking soda/water, small screwdriver for scraping.compressed
air. Battery grease for re install.
Good news: the car started right up no problem.
There looks to be be no leaks.

Lots of corrosion can sometimes mean your battery is fixing to go Bad. Especially if the car is fairly new. It wouldn't hurt anything to have your battery load tested.
