Benefits of getting my 14 GT cammed and tuned?

I'm thinking about turboing my 14GT after deployment but I'm might go with a supercharger instead. So I was thinking of getting a cam and picking my horsepower upgrade later.

Cams will make an immediate change in how much you enjoy driving your car. Smoother revving with more power in the higher RPM range. My last car I went with Ford Racing cams and just loved driving the car. You wont be sorry.

Cams don't bring a good bang for the buck and would be the last thing I'd do.

I haven't cammed a car since my 94 GT which I used a E303 cam on. It made a pretty nice difference....but I also had the motor totally rebuilt & used a GT40 Intake & Gt40 3-Bar Heads. I took that car from 238 H.P. to 315 H.P. with those mods plus a few more.
I've been told cams add 15 - 40 H.P. depending on the Stage of the cam plus the other mods that you pretty much have to do to make the cams beneficial. Things like a Torque Converter or Clutch, Throttle Body, CAI, Injectors, Exhaust, etc. Without doing the other stuff you'll only gain about 8 H.P. Do all this stuff with a good tune & you'll gain near 100 H.P. Add the Supercharger & you stand a good chance beating a Z06 Vette.

Due to the cost of cams + install on this car, I would only recommend them as a nearly last step, typically only for a max effort NA build. If you're going boost, you can easily make enough power to kill the engine without cams.
If you're doing an NA build, I wouldn't touch the cams until you've done at least your full exhaust and intake setup (preferably a cobra jet or boss manifold since cams move your power band up)
