Here's an old one I captured with my phone at the time, audio doesn't do it justice though.

I have Magnaflow also, the Aggressive Magnapaks with Long Tube Headers and Offroad X-pipe. No regrets at all. Best Addition to my Add-ons.

How much louder does deleting the cats make the car?

Very informative video.
This should help some people decide.
Me, I just love my Magnaflow streets and don't need anything else.

Thanks. I ask because, most of the videos on YouTube have deleted cats, or other mods that make the exhaust sound different than just the mufflers themselves. Makes it hard to get an accurate assessment for someone just looking for axle backs and nothing more...like me

After running my corsa extremes for about 11 months I regret that they aren’t deeper sounding. They are advertised as deep and aggressive sounding but to me they have kind of a hollow sound to them. Definitely not what I would consider deep. I would have went with the corsa sport but they were advertised as high Perfomance sound which isn’t what I was looking for, I wanted a deep muscular sound. I don’t completely regret buying them, no drone and the sound they produce when wot is amazing but I don’t wot 100% of the time. Thinking about taking my stock mufflers to a shop and having them do muffler deletes so I can be obnoxious when I want to and be less obnoxious and more refined with the corsa extremes when I want. Shop said they would charge $100, way cheaper than muffler deletes online. I pulled the axlebacks off and drove it around town and on the freeway and I loved it, very deep and loud(obnoxious). Didn’t mind the drone but I would definitely put the corsas back on for long road trips when with the wife. I actually put them up for sale a couple days ago locally but I’m going to pull them off and keep them. I was either going to try borla s types axle backs or MBRP race series catback. I know those are completely different but I’m all over the place trying to find the right exhaust for my ears.

I’m going on a cruise from phoenix to Mt Lemmon in Tucson this coming weekend with a bunch of mustangs, so hopefully I’ll be able to hear some different exhaust notes. Just found a group of mustang owners that like to take cruises out of town in their stangs so looking forward to that. After 4 years of owning my mustang this will be the first time gathering with other mustang enthusiasts.

I had the Roush AB on my 14 GT initially but it became too loud for me so I switched to resonator delete with GT500 AB and now it sounds perfect. I've had this setup for about the last three years.

I installed the Ford Racing X-Pipe and the Ford Racing (Borla) Touring mufflers. They sound so good and no drone BUT I do have a convertible so there's that to factor in. I wouldn't want to drive long distances with anything louder.

I have the Roush Axlebacks and a BBK Xpipe and love the way it sounds. Startup in the morning I suppose is kind of loud.... my neighbors around me can hear it but they don't hae a problem with it. At full throttle it sounds like NASCAR to me! I've gotten many compliments on the sound. I have the cat deletes sitting in a box I'd like to use, but afraid it will be way too loud. I have a video on YouTube if you want to hear how it sounds... I love it!

I ended up going with Steeda (Kooks) Axle Backs. I have absolutely no rasp, a deeper sounding muscle car note, and couldn't be happier. My next step is to get an H-Pipe, but probably catted.

I have now had my Corsa Xtreme 3" for a year and a half. I absolutely love them. I can take conference calls as long as I am not accelerating, people do not even know I am in my car. I can change that quickly by getting on the loud pedal though!

Pretty sure the H pipe would be after the cats.

On a 2011? I think the cats are just prior to the rear axle.

Not necessarily. the cats are before the h pipe. Sometimes mounted on the headers. This example shows them on the H pipe.

https://www.stage3motorsports.com/KO...st-Bundle.html

Catbacks like my old Borla's come with an X pipe, and mount after the cats. (catback)
