Does anyone know the diameter of the stock driveshaft? I have 3" piping for my exhaust and am concerned my new 3.5" aluminum driveshaft won't clear. Any info is appreciated!
Yeah I don't live at home anymore so I don't have access to all my tools and jack. Just was hoping someone already knew it before I do go home this weekend
Working from home today and stock driveshaft is in the garage
Front shaft is 10"/Pi = 3.183 or 3 & 3/16"
Rear shaft is 9"/pi or 2.865 " or 2&7/8"
Don't remember diameter of my aluminum shaft but it is around 3.5 " and there isn't a clearance issue.
Breathe easier!
I've seen 4" drive shafts installed with no clearance problems, I have a 3'5" inch aluminum on mine with an aftermarket exhaust (3 inch) and I have plenty of room (2014 GT )
