Unofficial Dynometer Thread

Good afternoon all-

I’d like to start a thread detailing your dyno results (include parameters) and mods. Maybe we can sticky it.

I’ll start. Heading in for a baseline run on my 2012 GT which is currently stock except for American Thunder Axleback.

Will be adding a custom Bama tune (91 octane performance — race is too aggressive and I can’t get 93 Octane here — shortly, and will re-dyno after that.

Future mods in the next year will include:

-Airaid intake tube (not CAI as I feel the stock airbox is pretty awesome, but the tubing sucks)

-MBRP long tube headers with catted H pipe

-MBRP catback tubing

Future mods (once I pay her off, in 2021):

-Kenne Bell supercharger, end goal ~650 crank HP.

Cheers!

What do you expect from a factory " canned " tune ????

That's not at all odd! It has to do with the cams! Depending on the can lobe duration, you will make either more TQ or more HP! Typically in a truck scenario the cams will lend themselves to have more TQ than HP! This is due to pulling a heavy load! In a Big Rig engine like the Cummins ISX 550, it has 550HP and 1850FTLbs of TQ, for pulling a heavy load over mountains!

In cars you can create more TQ than HP in a tune by decreasing the timing!

Here's my sheets, in both SAE and STD.
SAE are more accurate numbers, STD is what everyone seems to use because of higher numbers.

Before mods were: ARH 1-3/4 headers with offroad H, airaid CAI, Lund tune.

After mods are: ARH 1-3/4 headers with catted H, pmas CAI, ported cj mani, twin 67 tb, dyno tune, spec 2+ clutch with billet pressure plate and aluminum flywheel.
