Accufab/BBK tb on 2013/14, 5.0

Anybody switched out there tb to either an accufab or BBK 85mm tb?
If so, could you tell any difference in response? My 2013 has 68,000 on it, and recently there is an ever growing lag in throttle response, so I am going to switch out the tb and get a new tune to local 93 octane at the same time, as I moved 1/2 way across the county and my last tune was on 91.... so back to my original ?, anybody running n/a and swapped the stock one out yet?

Stay away from the BBK.
Odds are you probably won't notice much difference on a new tb. If your throttle response is decreasing i'd do a datalog with your tuner and see what they can find.

Not sure why noldevin said stay away from the BBK specifically. It works fine. I bought mine used and have run it in my car for over 2 and a half years, zero issues.

That said, don't waste your money on the throttle body. Look into the tune, a throttle body isn't going to make much difference.

Stock TB is 80mm and the manifold opening is 83mm. At wide open throttle the inlet diameter is only increased by 4% over stock. At part throttle where throttle body size might make a difference, you might be opening that inlet an extra 1-2%

No one will feel or notice 1% more throttle opening on a stock manifold coyote. Big throttle bodies have more benefit for cobrajet manifold or positive displacement blowers.
