I don’t know why, only SCT can answer that. SCT tunes are generic and likely causing the issues you’re having.
The thing is, you probably have other mods you don’t even know about. A 20 MPH error in your Speed-O is substantial.
(For those readers wondering about the 20 MPH thing, the OP has posted in other threads & forums about these issues. I didn’t pull it out of my backsides)
All things point to a mismatched tune AFAIK.
I’m going to ask you a simple question but I’m guarding against coming off as condescending. If it sounds like that, let me apologize in advance.
Do you know what a tune does? Do you understand what a MAF sensor is and how it works? Do you realize that you MAY be doing harm to the engine by running a bad tune?
Please put your car back to good working order and read about those things before loading a tune yourself. If the car ran poorly when you purchased it, take it to a tuner who is skilled with Mustangs specifically.
