Nitrous?

Been asked hundredds of times on here but I don't feel like reading all that stuff for the v8s & v6s. What's the biggest shot I could run on a stock 2.3l without having to change anything. Oh and what can I expect hp wise?

Go wet and 75 tops. If you go dry you are gonna need to upgrade fuel system. Jmo

First off do you already have a nitrous system. If not buy the one you are gonna run in your new motor. I really think anything over 75 will blow you up but the day of the swap spray the biggest jet you got into it. And get a video. And post it here. I would love to watch it

Re: Nitrous?

Step it up in increments too, Put in like 35 HP jets, then after a bottle, step up to 50, run a few bottles, then 75.
If I were you, I'd stay at 50 just to be safe. You're definitely going to feel 50, but 75, just that extra 25 HP is a hell of a difference between 50 and 75!

Re: Nitrous?

I ran a 75 shot for the longest time in my '88 Accord. Never blew it up, didn't do ***** to the timing, and to top it off, the car had 278K. Ended up trading for an '03 Lancer and threw the kit on that.
I love nitrous. Might even go with a 100 shot on the new GT just to have a little fun with!!

On your accord. Too cool. You must have surprised alot of people. The ecu on the new edge cars can handle up to 100 shot with no timing ****** as long as you use high octane.

Re: Nitrous?

I wish I had a bunch of money. I'd just fly you, svtlx, Ducati, and probably Al out here, with the cars mind you, put you guys up in hotels, and just shoot the ***** for a week. Terrorise the ricers here, street race, and just do whatever we wanted! I should really start playing the lottery!

Re: Nitrous?

So I should get what I'll be running in the GT instead of upgrading later? It's going to be a few months after june that I will be taking out the motor

K zex makes a good beginner kit that is great to build on. You are gonna put an 8 in er right. If so look at the 82023 kit on the zex website. If you have any question talk to aaron mick. They have a forum called the cpg nation. Join up and go to the nitrous section. Aaron answers all questions. Tell him I reffered you. It will get you a deal and me a refferal which will get me a deal down the road.
