Block rating

Ok I know this is a mustang forum but I have a question... How much power and boost can a stock turbo coupe 2.3 hold... The reason I'm asking is because my buddy is buying a complete2.3 from the intake to the oil pan with a t5 the computer and all for $300... And is putting it in his notch back so if you can help me out with this plz and thank you

Those things are practically indestructible. I remember a thread where a guy ran one without a drop of oil in it for a while just to see how long it would go before it blew up as he was swapping in a 5.0. I don't remember exactly how long it went, but I do remember being extremely surprised how long it survived. I would say you can probably run 14 psi with no problems if the air/fuel is right.
