Tranny swap 93 to 90 model auto

Everything bolted up fine but there is a sensor of some sort on the driver front of the tranny. This is the only issue I have ran into. The car the 90 model tranny came out of had only 2 wires on the car side plug but my 93 car has 3 wires so in turn it will not plug in. What is this switch or sensor operate? How do I swap them, the only thing I can tell is the valve body has to be removed first and I'd rather not pay a tranny guy to do since I've spent 4 nights on the swap so far.

I figured out it operates the OD. Apparently the tranny I put in is an 87' which has 2 prongs (1 hot wire 1 ground) and 1 solenoid. 88-93 cars had 3 prongs (2 hot wires 1 ground) and 2 solenoids. I either have to change out valve bodies and switch or figure out how to wire in the 2 prong on the car side.

Has anybody ran into this? Where does the signal come from to operate the solenoids? Which hot wire do I use of the 2 so I can wire in the 2 prong plug? Can this even be done?

Update, took the connector from an 87 harness and spliced it into my 93's wiring by simply matching up like colored wires, red and orange, the 93 has an extra brown wire I no longer needed. Taped and secured well, plugged it in and OD now works properly
