Sounds like a cool swap. Just know it will be expensive if you can't do the fab work yourself. Either way sounds original.

Sounds legit kinda reminds me of this swap someone did on YouTube with I think a Toyota supra. Your looking at some serious fabrication.

Those S2K's lack torque, it would be much cheaper to drop a v8 in. But it could be a fun swap if you have everything to do the swap already.

Yeah i didnt really think about the torque issue. Id much rather drop a vw 2.0t in but they dont make em in anything rear wheel drive. I could just use the s2000 trans with the motor too so even though it sounds challenging the fab work wouldnt be all that bad compared to some other swaps. I would do a v8 but everyone does that. Imagine pulling onto an on ramp and redlining that motor and having ppl stare and be like wtf is that!? Haha lol

Yeah true. Just looking for something foreign so it can be different. I have a 3.7 stang already so i just want to make a four cylinder stang that will put a beat down on some v8's

Sr20det would be a good swap, and cheap, and you can boost it to the moon.

S2K into a mustang hmmm I liike the idea. the S2K had about 240HP. I think people would be very shocked to see an import motor inside a muscle car. I say go for it and good luck bro. keep us updated.

Some friends and I shoved a R34 engine and tranny in a 85 stang, had to have a custom drive shaft made but it worked, it cost more to ship the motor from japan to washington then it did to get the car up and runnin
