Debating about taking off my muffler

I would not remove your muffler. I would think about swapping it out for something else like a cherry bomb or a magnaflow. But removing it would be a bad idea it will be stupid loud and most likely buzz

a Buzz is hard to explain but it would be high pitch and sound like lawn mower on steriods. kinda like a honda civic with a fart cannon. its something you dont want your mustang to sound like

No it won't sound like a Honda, I pulled up next to a 4cyl stang that sounded awful like a lawnmower, and my passenger rolled down his window and sarcastically asked them what there exhaust setup was and they said the kind with no muffler lol. I wouldn't recommend it. I just thought of the perfect example of what it sounds like and its like a go cart

Well to honest mine has no muffler and it sounds pretty good almost like a v8 but mine is highly modded shaved head cam stroker bottom end and four mikunis carbs but if yours is stock I would highly suggest full 3 inch pipe with a header and a cherrybomb that was my first exhaust mod and it sounded great
