2.3 Tach issue

Does anyone know why or have any ideas why the tachometer in my car doesn't read right ?

I don't know much about the 2.3. But I'm guessing it runs off the coil ground wire. Trace that wire. That is if you have that type.of system. Lol

OK, yeah I have the 2 coil pack, 8 plug system. I'll try that thanks

Had it happen on mine. It's the grey module that the coil packs plug into. Right by the alternator. Make sure you get heat sink grease to pu the new one on.
