Cold air intakes

Im finally starting to upgrade my 82 4 banger and want a cold air intake on it. Which cold air intake would fit on my 82 and be relatively cheap (100-300 range)

Nice. I was originally looking for a 93 or a 86 5.0 but settled for my 82. I'm going to buy a 5.0 in a few weeks and mod her out and just keep the 4
Banger for work lol

Here are the summit brand version. I have them just for track use, since they match the welds. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/SUM-531-5833PS

Then these are the ones I use all the time.

summit is my only parts place. i am nearing 20 orders just this year including about 30 minutes ago. lol but anyways summit is located in ohio, and i am in indiana. so i get everything next day! so it all depends on my location. AM takes about 3 days for me. but thats only cause there location is further away.

That's probably a hard one to find. But I usually have good luck with using the image tab on a google search.

If you got the 14x4s I think, a cold air intake wouldn't be hard to make

The biggest thing would be having it bent enough to put the filter next to your battery

Well I still have the shell where it was in the fender should I just put it back in there or no? The battery is a bit in the way unless I cut a section in the hood for it to sit but kind of don't want to do that

Yea true lol I just gotta figure out where all the vacuum lines go and will be good to go. Does ur intake have any lines run to it or is it all just go to the intake ?

I think it had one tiny one on the air box, but I disconnected it when I did much intake and haven't had any vacuum issues
