Rearend size

How big is the rear end on the 2.3 cyl mustangs and can I use it in my 5.0 swap?

The 2.3 came with the 7.5 I believ. And as for the 5.0 swap Idk, but I knw that the 5.0 came with the 8.8

I'd you're gonna bump up the hp and torque then yes. With a stronger rear end you will be able to handle more power without it breaking

What year is the parts car, they didn't put 8.8 in the 5.0 until 86 or 87.

If your swapping in the 5.0L most definitely add the 8.8 also..Ford made the right call when adding the 8.8, perfect fit for most builds.

Great, my next question is will the rear ends swap easily? As in bolt pattern, brake lines and suspension height.
