2.3 blocks

Well I have been having trouble finding a donor car but I did find a for sale ad for two blocks for sale this is what the ad said:
2 incomplete Ford 2.3 Turbo Blocks. 1 incomplete turbo head also included. 1 has new crank and connecting rod bearings. The cylinder walls have been ridge reamed and honed. The other block has the rotating assembly.*

Should I jump on this the guy wants $200 for them.

I dunno.. there are so many other parts you need to swap with it (VAM, injectors, intake, exhaust manifold, TURBO, etc. The motor is stout from the factory, I'd exercise some patience and find a donor car. If you do buy it, I have an extra turbo exhaust manifold laying around.

Yeah a whole 2.3t engine will be cheaper and easier than piecing it together

I know what you guys mean. But if I can talk him down cheaper I think I just might. I know patience, but I finally have off tomorrow so I'm going to be checking junkyards tomorrow and if I come up empty, I can't say I will pass this up.

I'm not necessarily saying it's a terrible deal if you do buy it, just that it's more legwork to piece everything together. If you do buy everything apart, may as well go big and send the head off to bo-port for a little p&p.
