Feathering gas pedal to start

1993 2.3 n/a I have to turn it over about 3times and it might hiccup. Then I turn it over again a couple times and it starts and hovers around 2k and goes down to about 1100k and sits for about 3.5sec and then dies unless I feather the gas. What do you guys think?

And once it warms up its fine. A little hesitation bad not to bad

Check the fuel pressure regulator upper hose make sure its not stuck. Squirting out gas . If it is is clogging everything

Leakin gas smell? And umm ur cats may be clogged up and smelling. All the 2.3 mustang cats tend to all clogg up and start smellin and restrict so much performance . Mine was clogged and I changed em to original and car ran beast.

Sooooooo I had to wait about 30-45min and had to keep pulsing the gas to freaking start it > help please again... This thing is about to get filled with lead
