start up idle????

Does any of your guys 2.3 raise rpm like 1600 rpm when u barely turn it on??? It warms up for a while and goes back down to normal but why does it go so high!? I get tired of that. Idk if its my idle air? Lmk of u guys got the same problem

I know but its weird if u were to have a stick shift wouldnt it idle lower??

My 5-speed 302 idles a bit higher till warm
