Help! 93 2.3 not running right

Well guys as the title says, my 93 2.3 is not running right.

It seems to wanna choke out ,or misfire (maybe) under acceleration from a stop or if I give a little more than half throttle at highway speed (55-65).

I hooked my actron code reader up and I got 2 codes both saying Dual Plug Inhibit Signal Loss(it came up on both the key on ,engine off and key on ,engine running tests), so I cleared them and did test drive and she drove perfectly. I put the reader back on after I got back, did the same test and I didn't get the Inhibit code but I did get a
Hard Fault
FMEM Engaged
Coil 1,2,3 or 4 circuit malfunction code.

So I'm thinking I need to replace one of my coils.

That being said mine is the 2 plug per cylinder dual coil pack motor.

This started right after I had some work done on it and the mechanic broke the connector on my back coil pack, so I put on one we had saved because we thought it good and this still problem is still here.

I'm just wondering if anyone else has a different idea or can she'd some light on this problem.

Thanks!

I would start by doing primary and secondary resistances tests on the ignition coils. Take ignition module off and take it to your local autozone they can bench test that ICM. Id looks over that plug that was wired in as well.

If you do take it to the zone to get benched out, make sure they run multiple test to allow it to fully warm up like it would driving the car.

OK so a quick update!

She seems to be running right again!

We replaced both coil packs and upgraded them to Accel Super EDIS coil packs and that seems to have done the trick! XD

I don't believe the problem stemmed from the ICM, we didn't have it twsted, but I am still having the tach problem which I believe is caused by the ICM.

Thanks for the help!!!
