Windshield Wiper Problems

So I just installed a new wiper motor on my 89 foxbody. When you turn the wipers on high or low you can tell a deference in the speed but if you turn it down to the delay...nothing. Also if I turn the windshield wipers off they stop right where they are. They don't retune to the bottom of the windshield. Any ideas?

If I remember correct there are 2 different wiper motors. One messes up the wiring. The wiper parking switch is not working for sure. When it get power after turning off the wipers they go back to the original position. I do not know enough about your year. Just what I herd.
