What are the best headers for an 03 mach 1?

Trying to start modding my mach right now it's got a chip, flows and, no cats

I'd say for the money spent long tubes are the best choice.

As for the brand it really depends on budget...you can pick up a set of BBK ceramics for ~600 or step up to Kooks or Hookers for well over 1k.

The power gains will be more noticeable with long tubes vs shorties.

Are you running straight pipe in place of your cats or a mid pipe?

Nice, I'd look into a set of long tubes that would fit with your x-pipe. From what I've heard install is a b*tch on these cars. 9/10 brands require the car up on a lift and a solid 2hrs for install.

Yeah that's what I'm hearing all over some say you gotta break the mounts loose and tilt the motor for each side

I saw an episode of CarFix where they put a full Kooks system on a car. They mentioned the long tube headers were designed to give as much clearance as possible. Might be something to look into if you are or plan to be lowered.

Good to know. I would like to get a set of long tubes after I drop her an 1.5" or so.
