The severity of the oxidation will determine how much effort is needed to remove it.

A light oxidation can be removed with something as simple as a clay bar. My Mach 1 had some fairly light oxidation being a Florida car and a detailed, 4+ hour clay/clean/wax session brought the paint back to life.

Heavier oxidation requires more attention..possibly a 3 step solution - clean/polish/seal to truly remove oxidation and revive the shine.

Yeah, if you can post up a pic of your specific paint situation that'd be helpful.

A claybar can get rid of the light stuff. But if it's from years of neglect, you'll want to buff it out with a machine to bring back the POP of the paint.

I see you're using an iphone, all you gotta do is when you click reply, it'll give you 4 emblems. (Camera, a square, a bird, and three dots.) all you gotta do is click the Square, and it'll let you select a picture to attach. After you click the pic you want, it'll load up. Then you hit reply, and you're all set.

Hope this helps!
