Raising Mach 1 Shaker

Decided to post this DIY for the Mach 1 guys ..
A very cheap and easy way to raise the shaker to make it look better.

Stock look

1. Remove shaker .. there are (2) 10mm bolts on the sides of the shaker. Remove the 2 lines on the driver side of the shaker. Remove the air duct from the airbox.

The front of the shaker bracket has (2) 10mm bolts unbolt them , and apply washers underneath of the bracket , then bolt the (2) 10mm bolts back down.

Reinstall everything and your shaker will be raised !

I also applied some silver paint marker to the shaker to make it look better as well.
Enjoy

Nice write up. That shaker is up in the clouds now! lol.

I feel this method is much safer than the other method of physically raising the ball joint sockets on all four corners.
The rear sockets can be lifted too much (>1/4"), put too much pressure on the hood and possibly cause it to crack if you were to hit a large bump.

I may throw a few washers in on mine and see how it looks.
