As it stands right now, the only REAL Shelbys are the ones that have actual Shelby VIN numbers like the GT500KR and the Super Snakes. If you were to go buy a regular GT500 it is not a "Shelby" as the make, it is a Ford. GT500KR owners will actually have the make on the Title and the VIN as a Shelby, not a Ford.

So in essence, the GT500 is just a Cobra already. At least if you reason it like that.

I honestly think Shelby should go back to being a hot rod shop where you send your Mustang to get tricked the hell out like how the GT350s were in the 11-14 generation. Or the Super Snake etc... Let the top end Mustang be named the SVT Cobra and then if you want a GT500, go to Shelby and pay the $120k or whatever it will cost to have a GT of your choice delivered to them and turned into a Shelby.

What the heck is an 05-09 gt350? I have seen it driving around town and has all the shelby badging but can't find any information on it.

Its probably some tool with a rebadged GT or even a V6. There was Hertz special though and IIRC a few dealers would do 350 badges on the Shelby GT cars that came out in 05-09 but there was no 350 unless there is some unique snowflake I never heard of like how most ppl do not know there are legit Roush and Saleen Termis.

Vehicle Identification Number. VIN.

Anyway!, lol, Roush has stopped (for a while now) being a Roush vehicle- it is a Ford, modified. Can anyone confirm Shelby still claims it (title wise) as a Shelby and not a Ford? I don't own any sort of Shelby, so I couldn't speak to it.

The GT500 is a Ford. Anything else, GT350, GTS, etc, is a Shelby.

Not trying to be a dick, but have we seen titles? Or is it posted somewhere I missed? I haven't really researched it.

Any ideas as to which new body style model i should purchase? GT premium, GT 500; SVT 350?

Also as far as high end exhausts, any ideas?
Ive heard of "Borla" anything better then that? Im going after quality sound and not just loud rattling noise.

Wheels. I like deep concave styles. It gives the rear a more wide look.
Any ideas? Swiss HRE's?

Thank you for your help!

The now "old GT 500" (which I own) is like a v-8 powered chainsaw. It will get the job done with drama and grunt. The new GT 350 is more like a scalpel,, a clean cutting of the corners precision instrument. I think of the new models should be a basic GT mustang with a track pack. I would also wait (because its only a mater of time) for the magma ride to trickle down to the GT to compete with the Camaro 1LE. now gentlemen, will you have the bargain of a lifetime but a real sleeper in real sale value.
🚘👍🚘👍🚘👍 does anyone know that every GT has a track pack as standard equipment only if it's slated for EXPORT!!!??

What does that tell you about what ford thinks of the American shopper??

That demand is higher overseas, so add tons of options to make people pay out the nose. Maybe that countries with a lot of vehicles that turn well will expect a vehicle that turns well. To make a good impression on continents that don't have Mustangs like we do in the States. What does it tell YOU that United States citizens don't care enough about it to only buy the vehicles with this option, pressuring Ford to make it standard- or increase the addition of this feature?

The Mustang overseas will be purchased more by enthusiasts than by Daily drivers.

I'm sure ford is adding in the price of the track pack to the purchase price so there not really giving it away. I would assume ford is taking the same approach when the new 15s came out where basically all the cars were premium models.

When your selling smaller numbers it makes sense to load them full of options to make more money. given there are less cars in the market buyers either pay more or don't buy.
