Aftermarket air filter 2011 GT500 (SVTPP)

Can any any one perscribe an aftermarket air filter I can plug and play directly into my car?

If you can prived a link as well I would appreciate it. I am looking for moderate mods I can take off if need be.

I am also looking at a tune for it.

Thanks!

Just installed a JLT Big Air CAI on my '08 GT500, with a Bama tune using an SCT Livewire Tuner. Not sure if I can detect a difference from the stock config?!

It depends what tunes they set you up with, but mine is set with "Race", "street", and "high rpm"... And all are tuned for 93octane. I just brought her in to Ford for maintenance, so I set it at factory settings. When I picked it up, I immediately installed the "race" tune and was reminded how much a difference it makes. I get about 2-4 mpg worse on that setting and the throttle response is a little more touchy, but I LOVE the sound the intake makes when you lay into it.

Thanks for the reply. Bama gave me basic tunes to accommodate the new intake, based upon octane ratings. Of course here in California I only have access to 91 octane so that is the one I loaded. I have never dyno'd my vehicle, so I don't know if or what HP increase I may have gained, but I don't detect any from just driving it. Maybe I need to buy some more tunes from Bama and specify that I want racing vs. street etc.?

My '12 has a tune by Jon Lund via an SCT X3 tuner from Lethal performance.

SCT Xcalibrator 3 Handheld Power Flash Device (Custom Tuned) [SCT-3000-GT500] : Lethal Performance, Performance parts for Ford Mustangs

I can tell a huge difference with my BBR tunes, an the only ones I have are the generic preloaded ones. Even the 87 tune is noticeably more potent then stock. The 93 is pretty aggressive

Just had her out yesterday with the "street" tune loaded...I can tell a significant difference from the "race" tune, both in throttle response and power curve. This one makes the Shelby much more street &commuter friendly - more power at lower rpm, but you are sacrificing some of the high rpm fun. I'm surprised you don't see the same benefits.
