And with all that power comes a set of pos 285 ftl Seriously I want so see a set of 335 atleast some 315, for goodness sake a z06 can hardly hook with 335 and with way less torque than the gt500, and most of the people that are going to buy the gt500 dont care about under/over steer atleast an option for the wide tires would be good. Just imagine if the termis came with 315s from the factory

If you can't hook on a 275 you can't drive...with that said the narrowest rear tire on a stang at my house is 295.

Really you can pull a 1.60s 60' in a gt500 with the pos 285 that are on from the factory not drag radials? Because if you can I will go to were you live and I will bow down. My friend best was 1.70s with some 315 on his CCWs on his 08 gt500. Here we race built awd cars and like they say "you spin I win". Have you ever raced a 500whp evo in the street with a bolt on gt500 with the stock goodyears? I have and for having 627whp in a gt500 it was made in to that evos b****, I got so mad I went to the shop and bolted on my welds with some QTPs and rematch was way better now I was the one that put lengths on the evos we were side by side out the hole.

Just explaining why in my area you need to hook and not take it easy off the line. Anyone can ride out wheel spin but by that time the awd cars get ahead. My bad im a street person and I have been since my highschool years its a hard habit to kick.

Who runs street tires? My normal tires are drag radials...

My point was a 275 dr will hook up on any car on this forum.

Im pretty sure that the new gt500 will not come with drag radials from the factory. I used 315 555rs on my old whippled cobra and it would break the tires loose in 3rd when I sprayed. Im not talking about running a set of 15s all the time wich I had on my turbo 2v running et streets on a daily basis.
