Shelby didn't make that car, Ford SVT did. He did however make the Code Red, GT350 and GT1000.

2013 was the last year he signed his creation. So now those are rare. Today is a sad day indeed.

Ford needs to make a Carroll Shelby special mustang. Have his picture and when he was born and when he died where his signature would go. How r they going to do the Shelbys now? Do they have a stamp or something with his signature?

Re: RIP Carroll Shelby - Shelby

FYI - We had various threads on this across the forums. I merged them into this one which is located in the Shelby forum.

I grew up with Carroll's grandson and got to meet him various times. We used to go out to his house in Pittsburgh, Tx and have lots of fun. He was a real nice down home good old boy. RIP Carroll, I hope Lena was there waiting for you with your favorite drink!

If you all want to post a message to his family, Randall (my friend) runs a forum dedicated to Shelby's at Shelby Forums Home (all you Shelby owners should join over there too!).
