Same here on my 12. I wanted and could afford a 13 but 112 extra horsepower ti me wasn't worth 25k to me. I also know the same could be said between the '12 5.0 and '12 GT500. I am in no way dissatisfied with my purchase. When she's out of warranty or if I get bored I'll drop some money into her to make her faster and less reliable.

Mine, brand new, fully loaded to the max. MSRP was 62k. I bought it walk off for 45k after negotiations. No clue what an MSRP will be for a fully loaded '13 GT 500.

Wow. I would buy one if I could get it for 45k! 65 is just too far out of my price range.

I was nationally shopping online. It took a while for dealerships to take me as a serious buyer since you can understand they get a lot of bogus inquiries. After a few weeks some were sold and I got a baseline to negotiate with. That along with the 13's gave me leverage. I had to walk away from a local dealership but they caved and called back ready to deal.

No problem brother. Look on cargurus.com to get a "no kidding" market value to start your search.

And be ready to buy too. If you get financing before hand and have the money ready you can usually get them to make it happen. I pretty much got raped when I bought my first car. I had no idea what I was doing and I ended up paying for a bunch of bull ****.

My bust on my blanket statement. Correction. 62,000 minus 45,000=17,000 in savings and 112 less horsepower and less bada**ery for my lowly '12 GT 500x Of course I could've saved 45,000 if I didn't buy it at all. Lol

Naw I was talking to Jvos, Depwraith said something about getting the GT500 for 30k, you said you got 25k off and Jvos ended up with 45k, when he should have ended up with 55k, he was 10k off

I've always been a pretty savvy car buyer... but getting 19k off is ridiculous

I bought my 2009 GT500 for $38k when it was 15 or 16 months old with 11k miles. New, the sticker was $48k. I also used my 2007 GT as a trade and since it was nearly spotless with a JLT CAI and SCT tuner loaded with Bama tunes I got $18k for a car that the high retail was listed at $15k. I was very happy with the deal I got.
