2011 Shelby GT500 Deluxe Build Sheet and Owner's certificate

Today, I received in the mail, my deluxe build sheet on my 2011 Shelby GT500. Some pretty cool information on it, it breaks down the entire VIN, which was nice but also gives the dates when the Shelby was first ordered, a scheduled build date, the actual production date, date when released from production, and the actual sale date.

It goes even further in depth with Production figures.

5,100 Shelby GT500 Produced
950 Shelby GT500 Convertibles
102 Shelby GT500 Convertibles in High Performance White
1 of 14 produced with this vehicle configuration.

Also received my GT500 Owner's Certificate of Authenticity which states build #688 out of 950 convertibles and build #70 out of 102 manufactured in Performance White and also have the VIN and build date.

Still waiting on my Shelby Certificate to arrive.

I purchased this information directly from Ford. You can go to www.shopfordgear.com it's called a Deluxe Build Sheet. The cost is $46, Ford will either send it to you via e-mail or mail it to you. I had mine e-mailed to me and from the time I placed the order until I received it, took about 1 week. Actually going to print mine out using my color laser printer and some card stock paper instead of regular paper.

$46.00! Lol. I'd like to know all that about mine but for 46? I will just stick with knowing there were 111 red with silver produced in 07. I own one lol. Awesome info though.

While I agree that $46 is a little crazy, sometimes it makes me wonder if Ford actually says we will charge X amount because if one can afford a GT500 then they can afford this or that for this amount. The main reason I went this route was because I wanted to have as much information on my car as possible. I knew for a fact that I had 1 of 102 in White and 1 of 36 with the facotry car cover. I just wanted to see how low the actual number was with the same configuration. 1 of 14 isn't too shabby, maybe I'll start taking her to car shows, which is another good reason to have as much paperwork as possible, to basically "show off" but hey to each their own I suppose.

Its that price for all deluxe sheets...my little v6 costs the same.

I was actually being sarcastic in my last remark. I do realize all deluxe build sheets are the same price. The reason I was being sarcastic was because I always hear people say this or that cost way too much money or that they ask you paid what for this or that?

Ok I just got mine in the mail today how'd you figure out that yours was 1-whatever with that configuration? Because it isn't listed in the letter

If its not listed then you purchased a build sheet and not the deluxe build sheet. There are 2 different builds to purchase. Look at the cost of what you paid. It should be around $46 if it is less than that then you purchased a regular build sheet. Only the deluxe build sheet has the production info listed

Nope I certainly paid 46 it has 3 different production things listed, total Shelby's, total coups and total in performance white. Nothing about the entire configuration

It should have been listed as the very last bullet. You may need to contact Ford/HELM and ask them why. Should be a contact number on the website that you ordered the build sheet from. My build sheet shows 5100 GT500 produced then shows 950 convertibles, 102 convertibles in performance white then shows 1 of 14 produced with vehicle configuration.

As far as the actual build numbers like mine is 688 out of 950 and 70 out of 102 performance white convertible that information is on the SVT / GT500 owner's certificate which is a separate purchase from ford show parts.

I would love to know all of that about mine too. I am just confused as to why ford would want that much for that information. If you get that info, I got 50 cents if u break it down for us. I googled and found a little info.
