I have the 123 jlt cai the Vmp pulley/idler and a bama tune but I would probably go with a Vmp tune if I had to get a different tune

Do you like the tune? Is it a lifetime tune? Pros/Cons please? What year is your car... If I remember your profile you have the 07GT500? I'm looking for products that are for my 08GT500.

Yeah I have an 07 but the 07 and 08/09 are identical with the exception of y'all have a lighter balancer....love the setup bama tune is probably on the safer side but that's what I wanted...at 535rwhp I'm not complaining...it would have been 550 but it was a little heat soaked after I drove it 45 minutes to the shop...I would strongly suggest an upgraded heat exchanger to go with your bolt ons...

The cars are identical.

Honestly I would find a reputable tuning shop in your area and get a custom tune on a dyno. That's an expensive motor to leave up to someone's best guess for a tune. All cars are a little different and with fi the risk is greater.

You can always get a tune from vmp/bama/rwtd/whomever and have the a/f checked on a local dyno.

There are ways to datalog with a x3 so the tune can be dialed in more.

That's why i did what ^ he was talking about and I also datalog all my tunes so I fully trust my bama tune...in fact while it may be better to get a dyno tune if someone researched I bet there are just as many blown engines on dyno tunes as there are email tunes and bama does a whole heck of alot more tunes daily than any shop in my area I'm sure so...it's all risky but its a minor risk

Awesome. Appreciate it brother. I will do that. Sorry, one more question. I do that, take it to a tuner and they dial in the A/F ratio?

No, you datalog it and then send bama back the results and they look it over and then revise then tune accordingly the. You go to a dyno and make some pulls(make sure they run a/f ) and then you see where you a/f is during the wot pulls and if its not in a safe area then you call bama and inform them than you start the whole process over they will also check on different things like timing, idle, etc... To make drivability better

yes and no it's very unlikely that the tune is not safe unless you feel it doing something unnatural (not always but unlikely). I try to datalog every tune since I get unlimited tunes from bama might as well get it perfect once bama thinks its perfect and it drives really well then dyno it and see what it makes and make sure it doesn't go lean because lean means boom

I can make mine backfire. Just running a touch rich at times.

It's fun when you can purposefully do it next to people.

Not the best but definitely better than running lean. Mine comes from running a wot box. If I go wot and stab the clutch around 6k I get a backfire of epicness complete with flames. It cuts timing and keeps dumping fuel.
