Seat Covers

All right I took the wife for a ride the other day we stopped for lunch and when we got back in the car she said the seats where to hot. They are the black leather regular seats. She said we need to get some seat covers. So here is the question does anybody have any pictures and what type they are. I would like for them to go on and off easy in case I am getting it judged at a show. I was thinking a few beach towels but I am not sure that would look good.

Get the windshield reflector thinger whatever its called. Have her come sit in my 98 after it sits out in the sun and feel that vinyl against bare skin. Then she'll be fine going back to the leather lol.

In all seriousness get you windows tinted. I live in central Florida and with my tint my seats have never been too hot to sit on.

I figure I will get a limo tint on the back window and I am hoping to find someone to do a 35% on the sides to help out.

The idea of the cover was to protect the seat unless I am showing the car. I wanted something easy on and off.

Thanks Mike

This is actually great advice and makes a world of difference. Our state is stupid about tint but I had laser surgery and I'm pretty sure I could get a medical note to get my windows tinted, even the windshield.

But in all seriousness just keep a towel in the car and drape it over the seat until it cools off a little. Nothing like years of backsweat being absorbed into leather seats lol. One reason I totally redid mine haha.

My mother in law puts a t shirt over the back. Easy to remove and clean.
