I've been told if I do the springs I should also do the PHB. Is it a must?

When u say off by 1/2 inch, u mean steering wheel? Pulling to one side?

I know some of the guys have done springs with no problem. I dnt want it to be one of those things where my wife says, "I knew it was too good to be true" lol or "u always do this, get half of what u need and make me spend more after".

No front end was fine just installed the springs and had the alignment done with camber bolts, no issues. But the panhard bar is used to adjust the body of the car over the rear wheels. One of my rear tires, can't remember which was a 1/2 inch out and the other was 1/4 inch in. The panhard bar adjusted it so they were even

Just an update to this thread, I purchased the eibach pro-kit and BMR adjustable pan hard bar. I am waiting on the pan hard bar to arrive so I can get them installed.

How did you get the springs out brother? Just the suspension being dropped?

Yep...just raise up the front end unbolt and done....just make sure to jack stand the frame so that the suspension is free then there's no tension on the springs...same with the back except you need the jack positioned on the diff so you can ease down the rear end just enough to get everything out

---------- Post added at 09:02 PM ---------- Previous post was at 09:01 PM ----------

It's definantly a two man job

---------- Post added at 09:03 PM ---------- Previous post was at 09:02 PM ----------

And having an impact is pretty important

Need is a relative word. If you are lowered which you are going to be, you will actually lose traction on the stock mounts. The relocation brackets move the angle to maximize traction when you lower. But they will work without the brackets, you just want hook as good.

Lol. At this point, anything has to be better for hooking than stock. After this, I gotta get tires and then be done for a while. The dang addiction for more always gets the better of me. If I can just hold off, I'm gonna do the big oval throttle body.... later lol

Lowering a car will actually in a sense make you "lose" traction

So if you were going to change what shocks would be good with a nice ride? I have ford racing springs. The only thing is I am running 315x35x20 in the rear. Hard bumps I hear her talking to me. I have BMR upper/lower control arms with BMR adjustable pan hard.

That's a good question. I've not looked too much at shock options
