Well, it's a Super Snake - Finally!

I picked up my 2013 GT500 Super Snake at the Shelby factory in Las Vegas last week and drove it back home to the San Francisco Bay area. It's awesome!
850HP Kenne Bell blower, 3.73:1 gears, wide body front and rear, billet watts link. I delivered it to Shelby on Dec 14, 2012 and got it back July 10, 2013. They had it seven months (in case anyone is concerned about turn around time).
The mechanical work was finished in two months. The wide body is where the hold up is.

I'll dyno it when the weather cools down. It's hard to get real numbers when the temperature is over 100 F.

About $60000 for the 850 blower, wide body front and rear, 3.73 gears and watts link.

You would think with the money people pay for these conversions that Shelby would dyno the car for the customer. It's not like they don't have a dyno..

Loven the wide body Chip, it actually looks better than Ford's 2014.

+10000000 for $10k I could be at the same level and thats still $15k less than you paid for the car much less the conversion. Don't get me wrong it's a very nice car but I don't see how anyone would pay that much for so little.

Because its a name. It's the name and the prestige that comes with saying, I have a super snake. Mechanically, it may be the same as doing it yourself. But having the shop do it will increase value.

If I was in his position, I'd do the exact same thing.

It will increase the value but not $60k in value, that's all I'm saying.
