new shelby owner

I traded my 13 gt in for a 12 gt500. Im not sure where to start with modding it. It has a magna flow exhaust thats getting thrown in the garbage. I would honestly rather have the stock exhaust or the borla s type. Any thoughts on where to begin? Im thinking exhaust and mgw shifter for now.

With the pictures sideways it sort of looks like an Old Batman Cartoon. Nice looking and congrats. As for Mods I have not touched mine yet cause the wife would just shoot me, and I am restoring my 1968 Coupe so my money is heading that way for a year or so.

Are you holding the phone up and down or sideways. If up and down then try sideways if sideways then try up and down. My iPhone does the same thing and it drives me nuts(-;

If it was my car I would do just what u mention, FULL exhaust and borla for catback. And yea MGW is the way to go.

After that u can lower it and pulley swap. And call it a day for now lol.
BTW. Will u be going to the track 1/8 mile at homestead this Friday?

I'd probably take those stripes off.... If you like em go with the fat ones at least. Borla atak is pretty fierce system and an easy install. Are you sticking with the stock heads? The lowering springs are also a great thing to look into.

I hate the stripes. I want to take them off. Just trying to figure out what to do with the shelby letters in back that are on the stripes.

Well what I did was take a piece of 3M painters tape laid it across make a general outline of all the letters with pencil on the tape. Then took it off used some fishing line and a hair dryer took them right off. Bought some 3M emblem adhesive went right back on no problem.

Before you go in your wallet, have a goal in mind & a budget. Buy mods to support your goal, that way you don't buy stuff, only to replace it later..
