Air filters

Can I clean the stock air filter as long as I give it plenty of time to dry? For example, have two of them?

If not, is there an aftermarket filter that I could buy that I could clean, and might possibly offer even better air flow?

You can't clean a stock air filter because it isn't designed to be "recharged". K&N makes a rechargeable filter and I'm sure other companies do as well.

You will be "hard pressed" to find a better flowing filter than a clean paper element filter.

I did purchase an AFE Pro-Dry S air filter for my 2012 3.7 and put it in a few weeks before it was time to park it for the Winter. I'll have to see how it works out once Spring rolls around. Seemed decent at the time...
