I think 10 grand was just an appearance package. Stripes, wheels, ground effects.

The was nothing "value" oriented at Shelby. Top dollar everything. But hey, you get a numbered plaque no matter what you buy. Whoopee!

Not a lot

Supercharger
Better brakes

Like you said: Stickers and badges with a numbered name plate.

When you think of it, it would be worth it to some to have a genuine Shelby.

There is a forum member that has the cosmetics package on his 3.7 V6. It looked great in the pictures. It was a while back.

Nope. The Shelby Gts says "starting at 10,500". That does not include supercharger. Click image for larger version

Always gots to read the fine print. Shelby stuff is overpriced out the ***. You can pick up a nice Coyote GT premium for over $10k less than a used 2010 GT500 with more miles. I mean it also all depends on what is available when but that's at least what I've seen.

Honestly I like the earlier GT500s for a budget "built" motor car but they still come with a Heaton stock.

I'm probably just talking out my *** since I've never owned a S197 tho lol.

When you are actually there you can ask for what you want.

I was there in person and if the guy was not blowing smoke he gave me the price on what I asked for. $10,400 is still a whole lot.
