Won't know for sure until we know both of your dyno numbers. Remember he is much lighter than you so if the numbers are close he may have the upper hand.....

But won't know anything until either :
1. We know your/his numbers
2. You race

If it's making power then I wouldn't say it's terrible. I've seen very nasty 2vs. 400 is what most people have on stock internals with a 2v, given that his is fully built I'm sure he has more power. But we don't know the specs of his cams, the compression, the heads ect.... So it's all a guessing game.

Idk if you know this or not but your car and his car's engine have the same exact bore, you just have a bit longer stroke and 4v heads. That is what makes it a 5.4.

And to give a little comparison, my 2001 weighed in 3335 pounds with 1/2 tank and no driver, that is with my heavy suspension work that adds weight and the back seats removed. Your car I'm guessing is a good 200 pounds heavier, which will make a difference if he is near your power level.

My vote is that you will win. But I'm just being devils advocate.

It'll be a bit more than 200lbs, mine weighs 3640 lbs with me, a half tank of gas, spare tire, and a subwoofer and my car is definitely lighter than my buddies GT500 is. A GT500 is gonna be close to clipping 4000 lbs with driver.

I personally think the 2V will take it if the guy knows how to drive
