Oh yeah? That's not telling is anything. What are you driving? You probably don't have anything close to a GT500 or even a 5.0!!

Haha, this fool is calling out Rapinator. Bad choice, built 5.0, nitrous, and full Bolt ons.

I'm not embarrassed in the least. I don't care what Rapinator drives. Remember one thing. No matter how fast you are there's somebody faster. I love my GT500 and that's all that matters to me. Oh yeah I'm really embarrassed!! Believe me I'm not impressed.

As was already said, its not all about dyno numbers. Lot more to it than that and timeslips matter way more than dyno slips do.

There are a lot of cars making way less than 700hp that run 9s.

First off, thank you for the explanation of the 5.8 and the Coyote motor(s).

Secondly, it is all good, gentleman. Put the pistols down. Duder likes his GT500. As he should. That thing is a beast from the factory, and it sounds like he has taken the time (and money) to further its beastliness. Good. The only GT500 that I see around my area is owned by some kid that has no plans to upgrade it. Never tracks it. Doesn't appreciate the history behind it. Just owns it because when it was time for mommy and daddy to buy him a car, it was the badass car on the lot. He doesn't even own it as a collector's piece. He doesn't even keep it clean. He is not a car guy at all, and it's really F!cking sad that he has that car.

So if dude likes his GT500 and appreciates it enough to upgrade it and be proud of it... good. At least it's not going to waste.

Will a bolt-on Coyote with a shot of juice beat it? Probably. But the fact is, those two will probably never line up next to each other. That race will never happen, so there is no use speculating about it, and definitely no need to argue about it.

Good luck Rapinator. I hope you run as fast as possible with your build. You'll always be way way faster than me on the 1/4 mile. Yep my car is basically a Dyno Queen and I may never track it. But I'm just as happy with that as you are with your Hell On Wheels. Best!

My car is built for roll racing.
And that is its purpose.

I have respect for the gt500's but at the same time the hp does not always win the race.

Thats why my new setup is set on 2 different stages.

After all this I totally agree with you. HP is not the biggest factor in racing. I didn't mean to offend you with anything. I said. I've been a big fan of all drag racing since the original muscle car era. You're hardcore into racing and I appreciate that. Good luck with that.

Just a 2012 Shelby owner here, happy I was able to by the car at 23. Personally feel the wheels can't handle much more, but that's probably just the driver. (Went from 150hp 96' to 550)
