Carbon fiber hood vent

I'm stilling love with my 2012 Shelby but I've found the Ford plastic doesn't age well in sunny Florida. The first part I want to replace is the hood vent and I figure carbon fiber not only looks cool but shouldn't show its age. Can anyone recommend good manufacturer replacement parts for the Shelby? Is TruCarbon any good?

People have had issues with the trucarbon piece. The fit isn't that great, and the clear will turn white and flake off if it is in the sun a lot. The trucarbon parts do better when they're not on a part of your car that sees direct sunlight often.

I would just hydro dip your stock piece. That's what in doing.

That is what I did from Southeast Carbon Works, and it looks awesome.

I have the same worries and problems. I'd love to do something with all the pieces.
