Alright. Follow the wires from the go switch and see which one is shorted. To check resistance just set the meter correctly there should be some setting like 1 10 100 or 1M 200M etc. You can tell when you are in resistance mode because the meter will read open or OL or flash at you. When you put the red and black leads together it will read zero. When you find that mode discount one wire and place the red lead on it then hold the other lead to ground if it read zero it is shorted to ground. Do that for all of them. Next have someone hit the go button and hold it. Read all the wires again if any of them went from a reading to zero that is the problem wire. Hope this helps

I didn't read to catch up to where we are but it shouldn't be straight from the battery tho right? Shouldn't it only receive power after the key is switched on?

Hey guys just want to say thank you for helping me out. I checked everything and everything seems fine. I called one of the shop down in south and describe them what was happening. They said it's the alternator it's over spinning. I don't know exactly what would be the problem Cuz after checking the wires and everything I have no clue but Thx guys once I figure I will post here for sure.

I can understand the alternator over spinning, but only with the NOS. Maybe a different size pulley on the alternator it will not spin as fast. Good Luck

Alternator problem!!

Yeah that why I don't get it. Why only with nos? They said at least 3inch. I have smaller aftermarket pulley on crank shift. They said it could be because of that. I really don't know. I did what U told Mike. I check all the wires and check the switch with meter everything getting power.

I think it probably spins the pulley a heck of a lot faster when all that power hits at once. In all honesty, a larger pulley would make less revolutions but I'm out of my element there.

I am interested in your build list tho. Hit us with some of what you have.
