2014 GT500 clutch

I test drove a 2014 GT 500 with only 7K miles today and the clutch was very heavy/stiff much more so than my Roush RS3. Is the GT 500 known for a very heavy clutch or should I be concerned?

I don't consider the clutch in my 14 heavy or stiff.
Only thing removing the assist spring did was make the pedal feel more linear.
If the car is @ a dealership, have them contact the last owner & ask if the clutch was replaced.

Having owned a 2011 GT, a 2012 GT500, and now a 2014 GT500 I would say that this clutch is much different than the previous two. I also felt that it was much more stiff than the 2012 GT500 but I think that's because this one is a dual disc type clutch. If you're really concerned about it just have the dealership check it out but like I said I thought the same thing comparing it to the other two

The stock clutch in my 11 was a twin disc, but not the same one as the 14.
I suspect all GT500's, 2007 forward, are twin disc.

2014 GT500 clutch

They arent. But what I'm saying is the clutch was different from my 2012 GT500 and my GT500 from 2014. They feel totally different

07-09 were a single disc ceramic clutch. Actually a problem too as the TSB from Ford says replace with a 2010+ GT500 clutch. One of the big ticket things that sellers of the 07-09s list as a selling point is the clutch was changed out. Usually to a RXT.

In general, 2011+ gt500's have a stiffer feel compared to gt's. Your rs3 is just a standard gt trans and clutch. I remember test driving a 15 and stalling all over the place because I couldn't feel the clutch.
