2014 Shelby Peeling to the left on launch - Alignment Fix?

So I'm a novice when it comes to my car. But I've been peeling to the left on launch and the tires don't catch until 3rd to 4th gear.

The tires are stock and still in great condition at 4,000 miles (planning on upgrading)

But someone said that the leaning to the left could be an alignment issue. Could anyone give me any advice on little tweaks I can do. I was going to take it to the dealership to have them fix the alignment if that is indeed the reason my Shelby leans to the left when I hit the throttle. Maybe also clarify the set up on a stock gt500 to help me out with terminology please

Thanks guys!

I don't have a shelby (I wish) but i have a 14 5.0 with some mods and mine when it doesn't hook will go to the right or left, it's normal i assume because i got my alignment done a bit ago. When it hooks it will go straight, makes sense that when there is no traction its going to go the way the rear tires are pushing it, so when ur not hooking the rear end will whip out to the right or left and push the car that way.

Think better tires will help prevent this?

Yeah! The better you hook, the more control you will have of which way the car is going.

Sounds like rear axle thrust is off. Go to alignment shop and have it checked out. Have you lowered your car? Probably not. But I f you did you'll need an adjustable pan hard bar.

Mine goes left right then straight. Which package do you have, a base or track pack. The Goodyear tires that came stock on these cars are great when the temp is above 80f below that they are not so good.

It has the track pack but I feel these tires aren't good enough for this car. I'm spinning through the first three gears even with 75% throttle

Have you had your thrust on the rear axle checked. That will make your rear end go either left or right consistently. That and the fact that you are not modulating your throttle. I had the same issue.
